Wire & Cable Manufacturing | McKinney, TX

Pay: $19.00–$21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
Overtime: Required based on production needs, including weekend availability

Job Description:

We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our manufacturing team as Machine Operators at a wire and cable production facility in McKinney, TX.

Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but is not required. We are especially interested in individuals with a strong work history and experience in physically demanding environments, including warehouse operations, construction, stocking, material handling, and general labor.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and looking for a stable, long-term career opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Operate and assist with industrial machinery used in wire and cable production.
Load, unload, and move materials throughout the production process.
Monitor equipment and production activity to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Follow work instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures.
Perform routine visual quality checks and report equipment or product concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Meet daily production expectations while maintaining attention to detail.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications:

Strong, consistent work history and dependable attendance.
Previous experience in warehouse, construction, manufacturing, material handling, stocking, or other physically demanding work preferred.
Ability and willingness to learn how to operate industrial equipment.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely around machinery.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift.
Ability to perform repetitive movements, including bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling materials.
Ability to perform physically demanding duties throughout the workday.
Ability to work in an active industrial manufacturing environment.
Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow workplace safety standards.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule & Availability:

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM.
Overtime is expected based on business and production needs.
Weekend availability is required when scheduled.
Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
