Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team in McKinney, TX.
The ideal candidate understands the importance of maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and works well with production teams to identify quality concerns and support continuous improvement.
Previous manufacturing or quality control experience is preferred, but candidates with transferable skills and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality inspections and checks on materials and manufactured products.
Identify defects, inconsistencies, and potential quality concerns.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production personnel.
Follow established quality procedures and safety standards.
Work closely with production teams to maintain product quality.
Support process improvements and help reduce defects.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, production, or quality control experience preferred.
Experience in wire and cable manufacturing, extrusion, or injection molding is a plus, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow written procedures and document findings accurately.
Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work the scheduled overnight shifts.
